Police have identified the victim of a fatal collision between a logging truck and a car Wednesday near Pembroke.
The car driven by 27-year-old Michael Clouthier of Pembroke collided head-on with a logging truck on Highway 17 between Black Bay Road and Doran Road around 11:10 Wednesday.
He was pronounced dead at the scene, according to OPP.
The collision happened in the eastbound lane, occupied by the truck driven by 42-year-old Gerald Ludgate, who was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
There were no passengers in either vehicle.
