Two youth have been charged in connection to a swarming in Ottawa's south end earlier this week.

The robbery happened on March 18 at 4:30 p.m. along a pathway near Saratoga Place. A man was walking when he was approached by two other men.

They asked to use the victim's phone. Once he handed it over, he was told to leave. One of the men then brandished a knife.

Police have charged a 14 and 15-year-old with one count of robbery in relation to the incident.

They are both scheduled to appear in youth court.
