Two teens charged in connection with the brazen daylight killing of an Ottawa teen who was dumped and left for dead on Booth Street were granted bail on Wednesday.

Although Khaled Wehbe, 19, and Zakaria Dourhnou, 18, were both granted bail, only Wehbe was released.

Dourhnou won't be released from custody until his family comes up with $50,000 in cash.

Both are charged with being an accessory after the fact in connection with the murder of 16-year-old Yazdan Ghiasvand Ghiasi.

Ghiasi was shot and dumped from a car on Booth Street on Dec. 6. He was bleeding profusely and was later pronounced dead in hospital.

Abdulhamid Wehbe, 20, is charged with second-degree murder in the killing. Another man, 18-year-old Mohamed Wehbe, is wanted for second-degree murder on a Canada-wide warrant. He is believed to have fled the country.
