Two men are facing a slew of weapons and drugs charges after officers from the Guns and Gangs Unit executed a search warrant Friday night.

The search took place at about 8 p.m. at a home on Robinson Avenue, located just east of the downtown core. Police seized several items including a loaded semi-automatic handgun, a taser, and 147 Oxycodone pills worth about $5,800 in street value.

Ottawa men Michael Parks, 46, and Michel Gallinger, 39, are facing several criminal charges including careless storage of a firearm, possession of a dangerous weapon, possession of a weapon obtained illegally, and possession of a controlled substance.
