OTTAWA - On October 16, 2013, the Ottawa Police Service charged two males after they were observed at approximately 5:35 a.m. prowling on the property of a residence in the area of Rockcliffe Park. Police recovered a stolen cell phone linked to another theft from a vehicle in the area.

The following charges have been laid:

Kaenyn BAZAY, 18 years old, of Ottawa, charged with Trespass by night, Breach of probation and Breach of recognizance.

Christian GAUTHIER-BRAZEAU, 20 years old, of Ottawa was charged with Trespass by night, Breach of probation and Possession of stolen property.

They are scheduled to appear in court today.

The Ottawa Police Service wants to remind Ottawa residents to hide valuables in their vehicles and to keep the doors locked. It is also important to report suspicious activity in your neighbourhood.
