Two men in their 70s were killed late Friday afternoon when several vehicles collided on Boundary Road in Pembroke.
Stanislaw Frykowski, 74, and Willis Hartwick, 76, were pronounced dead at the scene. Two other people suffered minor injuries and were later released from hospital.
Pembroke police and the OPP are continuing to investigate what caused the crash at 4:55 p.m. A portion of Boundary Road was closed for eight hours on Friday.
