A 10-year-old girl and an 18-year-old young woman are dead after a transport trailer struck a car at a busy intersection in Kingston.
Police say the collision occurred at Battersea and Kingston Mills Roads shortly after 6 p.m. Monday.
Police say the small car was travelling westbound on Kingston Mills Road when it collided with the tractor trailer heading south on Battersea Road.
The 19-year-old driver of the car remains in hospital where he's being treated for injuries that haven't been disclosed.
The driver of the tractor trailer was not injured in the crash.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
