BELLEVILLE, Ont. -- Police in Belleville, Ont., have arrested two people and are searching for a third person in connection with a human trafficking investigation.

Police say a young woman was allegedly forced into the sex trade and held at an address for several days against her will.

They say two people were taken into custody after search and arrest warrants were executed at a home on Monday.

Twenty-year-old Breanna Garrison and 22-year-old Jesse Scullion, both of Belleville, were charged with human trafficking, forcible confinement and assault causing bodily harm.

Garrison was also charged with material benefit, exploitation, extortion, living on the avails of prostitution and uttering threats.

Police are still looking for 23-year-old Kadeem Truadian Francis, who is from the Quinte region but may currently be living in the Kingston area.

He is wanted on charges that include human trafficking, forcible confinement, exploitation, uttering threats and living on the avails of prostitution.

Police say the investigation is ongoing and more charges may be forthcoming.
