Two people were arrested after gun shots were fired at a Gatineau apartment building Sunday morning.

Police received reports of gun shots at about 6 a.m. at a residential building located at 4 Rue Radisson, near Hwy. 5. An investigation determined shots were fired south from a fifth floor balcony.

Residents told police they heard an argument going on in the apartment. No injuries have been reported.

The apartment building was evacuated while police examined the scene. Residents were allowed to reenter at about 1 p.m.

Many residents were left shaken.

"I just can't stop shaking," said Natasha Cousineau. "I can't believe what's going on in my block."

Police are continuing their investigation.
