Twenty Canadian Idol hopefuls who auditioned in the Capital over the weekend will be heading to Toronto to further their chances at becoming the next Canadian singing sensation.
Auditions were held at St. Laurent Shopping Centre in Ottawa on Saturday and Sunday.
Season one winner Ryan Malcolm of Kingston, Ont. and season four winner Eva Avila of Gatineau, Que. both had their Canadian Idol start at auditions in Ottawa.
