A traffic stop along Highway 401 resulted in the OPP seizing $400,000 worth of raw marijuana on Monday.
A westbound Ford pick-up truck was pulled over in Leeds and Thousand Islands Township at 1:30 p.m.
About 190 pounds of marijuana were discovered in plastic bags in the truck's box area. Police also seized Canadian and U.S. currency and the vehicle itself.
Alex Rodrigue, 33, of Trois-Rivieres, Que., was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking.
He was held in custody pending a Brockville bail court appearance.
