The Rideau Centre is adding more high end fashion and jewelry shops to its store line-up this summer.

Kate Spade, a New York based design house will open its Ottawa location in June.

Another high-end American designer, Stuart Weitzman, is expected to open in October.

Tiffany & Co. will open its first stand alone jewelry store in the capital in August.

The store will include a private viewing room in its new 3,000 sq.ft store.

Tiffany has already placed job ads for its Ottawa location on retail websites.

Tiffany had a smaller counter location in Ottawa which was a part of the now closed Holt Renfrew store on Sparks Street.

The Rideau Centre also confirms to CTV Ottawa that its Michael Kors store will be relocating and expanding its footprint in the mall this year.

The $360 million expansion of the Rideau Centre will also include the March 2015 opening of Nordstrom.

Simons, the popular Quebec based clothing store is also scheduled to open a store in the Rideau Centre in 2016.
