Environment Canada has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for Ottawa and other parts of Eastern Ontario.
The warning was issued just after 3:30 p.m for Ottawa, as well as Renfrew, Arnprior, Perth and Eastern Lanark County.
The agency says a severe thunderstorm is making its way from Arnprior eastward, moving at about 30 km/h.
The storm could produce nickel-sized hail and heavy rain.
