Two Thunder Bay police officers and an RCMP officer are in Ottawa to conduct interviews with an 'extensive list" of people involved with the University of Ottawa men's hockey program. The small team is investigating an alleged sexual assault that occured Feburary 1.

The investigators will be in the Capital for about a week. They are investigating a third party complaint that members of the University of Ottawa men's hockey team allegedly sexually assaulted a Thunder Bay woman while on a road trip to the city in early February.

The RCMP officer was called in because Thunder Bay "needed extra man power, " says Chris Adams, a spokesperson for the police service. He/she is not an expert in any particular area.
