Two teenagers are in hospital with serious injuries and another is fighting for his life after a truck slid through an intersection and hit a utility pole in South Frontenac, just north of Kingston.

Ontario Provincial Police say the Ford pick-up truck slid through the intersection of Murton and Forest Road at about 7:20 p.m. Wednesday night.

The 17-year-old driver and two 16-year-old passengers were rushed to hospital in Kingston to be treated for their injuries.

The driver and one of his passengers are in serious but stable condition.

The other passenger is in critical condition. He was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
