Three men were arrested on weapons and drug charges after police executed a raid in the city's west-end Friday.
Officers from the Ottawa Police Guns and Gangs Unit and the Ontario Provincial Police Weapons Enforcement Unit executed a search warrant at a home in the 900 Block of Watson Street near Pinecrest Road and Carling Avenue.
Police seized two handguns, two pieces of body armour, crack cocaine, and drug paraphernalia.
Ahmed Ismail, 21, Abdelaziz Mufarreh, 23, and Osborne Dolo, 24, are facing a slew of weapons and drug-related charges including: unauthorized possession of a firearm, possession of a weapon dangerous to public peace, and possession of a substance with the purpose of trafficking.
