Three customers were victims of a different kind of drive-thru after a vehicle smashed through the window of a Tim Horton's in Belleville Saturday.

Belleville police said they were called to the restaurant at 48 Dundas Street West around 6:26 a.m. after the vehicle jumped the curb, went through the window and stopped inside.

The driver wasn't hurt but three people inside were hit.

Two remain at the Belleville General Hospital with non life-threatening injuries and one was released after getting treatment for minor injuries.

Police said the cause of the crash is under investigation and no charges have been laid.
