After what Ontario Provincial Police say was a home invasion in Petawawa on May 13, three young men face charges in relation to that incident. The people in the house received minor injuries during the alleged invasion.

Police say three men forced their way into a house on Barron Canyon Road around 9:50 p.m.

The people charged are:

  • Nicholas Bourgoin, 19, of Petawawa. He is charged with break and enter to a residence, mischief under $5,000 and assault.
  • Tyler Bourgoin, 25, of Petawawa. He is charged with break and enter to a residence, assault and overcoming resistance to commit an indictable offence.
  • Dillon Carnegie, 18, of Petawawa. He is charged with break and enter to a residence, mischief under $5,000 and assault.

The case remains under investigation. Anyone with information should call OPP at 613-735-0188.

Petawawa is about two hours northwest of Ottawa.
