Three people were arrested after police in the Outaouais swept Gatineau Park for naked people last month.
Police said they charged a 68-year-old Ottawa man with public nudity on Thursday, July 19 after he was found near the Meech Lake Ruins.
The next day, an Ottawa woman who was also arrested for public nudity on a Meech Lake Beach said a man had just masturbated in front of them before leaving in a canoe.
Police said they swept the area using ATVs and found the man on Meech Lake Road, where he was arrested and charged with indecency.
Outaouais police said they’re investigating to see if this man is connected to any similar incidents around the park.
Officers from the NCC and RCMP also helped with the operation, dubbed "Operation Nude".
