The Gatineau police anti-gang unit has arrested three people following a series of raids early Friday morning.

Around 1:25 a.m., police intercepted a vehicle targeted in an ongoing investigation in the parking lot of a business on Greber Boulevard.

The 45-year-old male driver of the car was arrested. Police also seized drugs and the man’s car.

Gatineau police then teamed up with MRC des Collines police as well as the Surete du Quebec canine unit to raid a home at 853 Montee de la Source in Cantley.

Police say they found drugs and a handgun and arrested a 77-year-old woman. A 34-year-old man was also arrested later that evening.

During the raids police seized a loaded 22-caliber gun, ammunition, 2097 grams of marijuana, 41 grams of cocaine and $1,845 in cash.

45-year-old Steve Hache and 34-year-old Eric Danis of Cantley appeared in court on charges of possession of a prohibited firearm, careless storage of a firearm, possession of narcotics for the purpose of trafficking and possession of property obtained by crime.
