The faithful gather at St. Paul's United Church in Richmond every Tuesday for a tasty slice of life. For more than a decade, a dozen dedicated souls have been meeting weekly to make some of the most delicious pies around filled with sweet fruit or succulent beef and chicken. They also make tortiere, tarts and several varieties of quiche. Proceeds from pie sales support improvement projects at the church. To date, the group has made more than 32 thousand pies. Frozen pies are available at the church on Tuesday mornings or can be ordered online.
