OTTAWA -- There are 10 new cases of COVID-19 in Ottawa, the second-straight day with double-digit increases in cases.

Ottawa Public Health reported 10 new cases of COVID-19 on Thursday, and no new deaths.

Since the first case of COVID-19 in Ottawa on March 11, there have been 2,679 laboratory-confirmed cases of COVID-19, including 264 deaths.

There are currently 12 people in hospital with COVID-19, including one in the intensive care unit.

There are currently 140 active cases of COVID-19 in Ottawa.

Ottawa Public Health reports 2,275 people have recovered after testing positive for COVID-19.

  • 0-9 years old: Three new cases (93 cases total)
  • 10-19 years-old: Two new cases (159 cases total)
  • 20-29 years-old: Five new case (430 cases total)
  • 30-39 years-old: No new cases (359 cases total)
  • 40-49 years-old: No new cases (340 cases total)
  • 50-59 years-old: No new cases (361 cases total)
  • 60-69-years-old: No new cases (270 cases total)
  • 70-79 years-old: No new cases (192 cases total)
  • 80-89 years-old: No new cases (277 cases total)
  • 90+ years: No new cases (198 cases total)

COVID-19 outbreaks

Ottawa Public Health reports four COVID-19 outbreaks have been resolved. There are currently five active COVID-19 outbreaks, including at three child care centres and day camps.
