Teenager seriously injured in west-end stabbing

A teenager suffered serious injuries after a stabbing in Ottawa's west end on Wednesday evening.

Ottawa police say they were called to the 200 block of Craig Henry Drive, west of Woodroffe Avenue, at approximately 6:50 p.m.

The victim, a teenage boy, was found with stab wounds, according to Ottawa paramedics spokesperson Marc-Antoine Deschamps.

He was taken to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.

Officers remain on scene and an investigation is ongoing, police say. 

No arrests or charges have been announced.
