A teenaged boy is in hospital after being hit by a vehicle in front of A.Y. Jackson Secondary School in west Ottawa Friday.
Ottawa fire officials say the 14-year-old boy was hit on Abbeyhill Drive after being dropped off by his father around 8:50 a.m.
Firefighters said they immobilized the boy until paramedics arrived and took over.
