A 17-year-old male is recovering from his injuries after he was stabbed behind a bar in Ottawa's west end early Wednesday morning.
Police say the teen was stabbed at about 12:50 a.m. behind Tailgators sports bar on Merivale Road.
Paramedics treated the victim at the scene for serious injuries caused by a stab wound to his abdomen.
Police arrested a male suspect near the scene a short time later.
Connor Steele, 19, is facing charges of assault with a weapon and breaches.
