Update: The suspicious package was found to be inert. All roads are now re-opened.

OTTAWA - The Ottawa Police Service would like to advise of some road closures due to a suspicious package in the 200 block of Elgin Street.
Elgin Street in closed between Cooper Street and Somerset Street West. Also closed is Somerset Street West between Cartier Street and Elgin Street.
Commuters are asked to use an alternate route.
