Ottawa police are trying to locate the suspect in a Saturday night stabbing between Parliament Hill and the Byward Market.

A man in his late 30s was stabbed several times in the head and upper torso at the pedestrian underpass between the Rideau Centre and the Government Conference Centre at about 10 p.m. He was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Michael Lacasse, 25, is wanted for aggravated assault. His current whereabouts are unknown, and police are warning that he may be armed with a knife.
