Police are on the hunt for a male suspect following a robbery at a Shoppers Drug Mart in the west of Ottawa. No injuries were reported in the incident.
The incident took place around 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, when a male entered the drugstore and handed staff a note asking for drugs, police say. He also is accused of trying to gain access to a safe using the staff keys. He fled on foot.
He is described as black, in his late teens or early 20s, six feet one inch and 150 pounds. At the time of the incident he wore a black hat with a Monster Energy Drink logo on front and a number 43 on the peak, a black jacket over a grey hoodie, blue jeans, brown shoes, and green-rimmed sunglasses.
