Ottawa police are investigating a series of retail robberies and believe the same suspect has recently committed a fourth robbery.

On January 31 at approximately 7:55pm, a lone male entered a convenience store in the 1800 block of Baseline Road. Police say the suspect, disguised with a shirt or sweater pulled up over his face, made a demand for money. No weapon was seen. The suspect was provided an undisclosed quantity of cash and fled on foot.

He was last seen running on Navaho Drive toward Iris Street. There were no injuries. This store is at the same location as the one robbed on December 18, 2015.

The suspect was similarly described from the first set of robberies. The suspect may have recently cut his hair very short. A witness in the latest robbery also indicated the suspect may have a tattoo on the centre of his chest. The suspect wore a black long sleeved shirt or sweater, and a black 'puffy' style vest.
