A man wanted by Ottawa police for a series of east-end break-and-enters is in custody after turning himself into police Friday.

Police said Charlie Lough, age 28, is facing seven counts of break/enter and theft and 14 counts of breaching his probation in connection with the Elmvale area break-ins.

Small electronics, money and jewelry were taken from a number of homes in this series of daytime robberies, with police saying they happened over the last three weeks.
