Dennis Staples will get another term as mayor of Smiths Falls after a recount Friday confirmed his slim victory in last month's election.
Staples beat his opponent, Jeffrey Keays, by just 68 votes on Oct. 25. The decision to recount the ballots was made on Monday.
Staples has been mayor in the small town since 1994.
