Jakubec vs Marcotte: A race of the ages

This race all came about in a conversation that turned into a challenge. Who is faster? Terry Marcotte or A.J Jakubec?

CTV Sports Director Terry Marcotte beat TSN 1200's AJ Jakubec in a 200 metre race ... live on CTV Morning Live.

Marcotte trailed for most of the race, but Jakubec stumbled and Marcotte poured on the steam to take the victory. It took him 31 seconds to complete the race. This settles a two month bet between the two. This race all came about in a conversation that turned into a challenge. Who is faster? Terry Marcotte or A.J Jakubec?

Mayor Jim Watson was on hand to award Terry the winners trophy. The race raised money for the Ottawa Senators Foundation and the Military Family Fund.
