Ottawa is bracing for a mid March winter storm which could dump up to 20 centimetres of snow on the region by tomorrow night.
A snowfall warning has been issued for Prescott and Russell, Morrisburg, Cornwall, Winchester, Upper Gatineau and Papineau.
OC Transpo is already advising passengers to check its next bus arrival system as there will likely be delays starting in the rush hour Tuesday morning.
So far, Ottawa has received 209 cm of snow excluding tomorrow's storm.
Last year, the amount was 104 cm by mid March.
City crews say they will plow streets during the storm and then depend on Mother Nature to melt the snow with the arrival of milder temperatures.
The storm will keep private snow operators busy again.
"It has been a very good year for customers definitely getting their money's worth as opposed to the last two years and the contractors are definitely feeling it", said John Hopkins of Always Growing Maintenance.
CTV's JJ Clarke says expect the snow to start falling as early as 10 p.m. tonight.
