Ottawa Senators hockey fans will be able to enjoy a free cold one at the opening game against the Florida Panthers Monday Night.
In a promotion with Molson to help celebrate the return of NHL hockey, the Sens will hand out a free 14 oz beer voucher to every fan who is of legal drinking age.
Reaction to the beer promotion got the thumbs up at the popular Prescott Hotel Sports Bar on Preson Street. "It's a great idea. Beer and hockey, they go together like bread and wine", stated one hockey fan over lasagna and a pint.
The beer promotion runs only for the home opener.
