A search warrant by Ottawa police's guns and gangs unit Friday resulted in guns, money and drugs. Two people were charged in connection with the findings.

The search took place in the 1400 block of Weyburn Street just north of the Ottawa Hospital complex east of downtown.

Police foudn a .380 semi-automatic hand gun with a loaded magazine, a stun gun/taser, cocaine, drug paraphernalia and an undisclosed amount of Canadian currency.

Axel Mutama, 24 and Princess Gray, 20, were charged with various firearm offences as well as having proceeds of a crime over $5,000.

No court date was announced.
