After a weekend robbery, Rinaldo's hair salon in Manotick is offering a $10,000 reward to anyone whose information can lead to an arrest.

The robbers made off with $350,000 worth of goods, from hair products to wash basins. Even items nailed down to the floor were lifted during the Sunday night bust.

The thieves also cut wires and dismantled security cameras. Salon staff members suspect that the job was done by professionals.

"These guys had planned this obviously; it wasn't just kids across the street. It was somebody who knew what they were doing," co-owner Debbie Dold told CTV Ottawa.

Police say the culprits likely spent a number of hours inside the building. They cannot yet say whether professional thieves were involved.

"It's too early on in this investigation to determine if this was an organized thing," said Ottawa police Constable Alain Boucher.

As police investigate, Rinaldo's staff is left to pick up the pieces. Dold said she is devastated.

"You work so hard for everything, you have a great staff, you love coming to work every day, you love your business and it just felt like someone took a knife and stabbed you," Dold said. "It's disgusting. I can't even believe somebody would do that."

Although Rinaldo's is offering a $10,000 reward to anyone whose tip leads to an arrest, Dold says that the money will not relieve the emotional impact of the raid.
