The Rideau Environmental Action League was founded by two local teachers in Smiths Falls who accepted the challenge from Dr. David Suzuki to think globally and act locally to protect our environment. REAL has attracted support in the community of Smiths Falls and surrounding area for its educational programs and its reuse centre called the REAL Deal store.
