The National Capital Commission has reopened the entire 7.8 kilometer length of the Rideau Canal Skateway.
The Skateway opened to skaters as of 6 a.m. Tuesday morning.
The NCC had closed the ice surface early Monday, Jan. 6, 2014 because of adverse weather conditions and their negative impact on the ice.
