When it comes to making horseshoes, John Edwards of Navan is a 'ringer'. John is a certified Farrier, a member of the American and Ontario Farrier's Associations. At 22 years of age, he is one of the youngest farriers to have earned his certification. He studied his trade at the Canadian Horseshoe School in Embro, Ontario. With a portable forge and workshop in tow, John travels to farms across the Ottawa Valley. His work has resulted in happy, healthy horses and a growing clientele which praises the meticulous quality of his shoeing and trimming.
