Raymond Dubois of Ottawa loves how his retirement is taking shape. Raymond is a gifted carver who has discovered the joy of transforming crude chunks of stone into elegant and polished works of art. His home and studio are brimming with breathtaking sculptures of birds, dolphins, bears and other forms of wildlife. He donates numerous pieces to charitable auctions or fundraising events. After spending years in a stressful job in the office of the Auditor General of Canada, Raymond enjoys the relaxing nature of his hobby. He's excited about every creative challenge and what his next piece of soapstone will bring.
