Dennis Alexander has been making and repairing violins in his Gatineau, Que. workshop for more than 25 years. He fashions instruments for influential musicians in Canada, the United States and other parts of the world. He is a member of the Violin Society of America and the Violin Makers Association of Arizona. Dennis has won numerous awards for his craftsmanship and tone. He is also a celebrated fiddle player, and has produced a CD recording entitled "Dennis the Fiddlemaker." It features 10 musicians who own and play his violins.
