Ottawa's beach season officially opened on Saturday and already the red flag is flying high.
A no-swim advisory was in place Monday for Petrie Island's East Bay Beach.
Tests revealed a higher than normal E. coli count in the water on that particular beach. All the other beaches on Petrie Island tested fine and remained open for swimming.
The other three City of Ottawa beaches were also open for swimming on Monday.
