Ottawa's Queensway Carleton Hospital is set to receive a five million dollar gift from a local businessman.
The donation will come from James Gary Beach. He said the money represents his family's commitment to the hospital.
A four-storey wing now under construction will be named the James Beach Health Care Centre.
The hospital's $126 million dollar phase three development will include three new operating rooms and a new dialysis service with 15 stations.
