CORNWALL, Ont. - Quebec's senior hockey league is moving one of its franchises to Cornwall.
The Quebec North American Hockey League confirmed in a statement last night that the team will hit the ice next season.
A spokesman says a Cornwall group headed by Bernard Villeneuve purchased the Windsor Wild after the season wrapped up Friday.
More details on who's behind the bench will be unveiled in the coming days.
