La Sûreté du Québec says a call to the scene of a fatal accident in west Quebec Saturday has turned into a murder investigation.
Police said they were called to 688 River Road in L'Isle-aux-Allumettes, across from Pembroke, around 1:30 p.m. Saturday.
The call was originally for a man who had reportedly fallen to his death in his garage, but police said they found signs of violence at the scene that involved a knife.
He has been identified as 51-year-old Kevin Law.
No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.
