More federal public service workers will be without a job after the latest cost-cutting announcement Friday.

One-hundred seventy nine language training workers at the Canada School of Public Service will be out of a job as of March 31, according to their union.

A post on the school's website said it will stop providing direct language training on that date.

It said a lot of language training already comes from the private sector, universities and colleges.

The union said they were told today about the cuts.
