Prostitution charges after police raid Holland Avenue spa
Two women and a man were arrested Friday afternoon after Ottawa police and the RCMP raided an alleged spa believed to be a front for prostitution.
Police began investigating the Holland Avenue location several months ago after seeing a spa advertisement in the adult section of a local newspaper. Officers soon had enough information to believe sexual services were being provided by staff members in exchange for money.
Hue-Phan Tran, 36, and Yingling Feng, 46, were charged with keeping a common bawdy house, being an inmate in a common bawdy house, and living off the avails of prostitution.
The arrested man is expected to be referred to the john school program.
