The Ontario Fire Marshal's office is investigating after an elderly woman was killed in an overnight fire in Prescott.
Firefighters responded to a blaze on Dibble Street in the small eastern Ontario town at about 3:30 a.m. Wednesday.
Inside, they found the body of Leone Jacqueline Degranville, 84.
Ontario provincial police and investigators from the fire marshal's officer remained on the scene late Wednesday afternoon.
Police say they don't suspect foul play.
