Downed power-lines and a fresh blanket of snow overnight meant many were left cleaning up today.

Hydro crews are still working to restore power in some areas of Eastern Ontario after thousands were left in the dark.

There are still major pockets of outages. Dozens of areas in the west, particularly around Barry's Bay and in Lanark, are still impact, though the number has been reduced throughout the day according to the Hydro One information website.
