Close to 300 households in the Arnprior area were without power Saturday night due to problems with a power transformer, Hydro One said.
The outage began around 5:30 p.m. for 279 power metres, and was expected to last at least three hours.
Temperatures dipped to -16 degrees Celsius Saturday night. With the windchill, it felt closer to -21.
